Dr. Jeon graduated from Jeju medical school in 2002, the most beautiful island in South Korea. It was his precious memory because of beautiful environment.
He trained in Catholic Medical Center, one of the biggest hospital in South Korea. Dr. Jeon decided to become a thoracic and cardiovascular surgeon during his internship. Thoracic and cardiovascular surgeons looked so great at that time. When he became a thoracic surgeon, he worked in Seoul St. Mary's Hospital, a representative hospital of Catholic Medical Center, between 2011 and 2012 for thoracic surgeon. At that time, Dr. Jeon learned various surgical skills and he has worked in Bucheon St, Mary’s Hospital since 2013, his position is assistant professor after clinical associate professor.
In the field of thoracic surgery, he majored in lung cancer surgery, pneumothorax and pectus excavatum. In lung cancer surgery or pneumothorax surgery, his major is single port VATS surgery and he has started it since 2013. Nowadays, most of his cases have been conducted by single port surgery and he has tried to provide benefits to the patients using single port VATS.
